Backblaze is a backup system that appeals through its simplicity and price. For $5/month it will keep one machine fully backed up, meaning that no matter if you have a 60 or 600GB hard drive, it will cost you $5/month to keep it backed up. Backing up can be done manually, scheduled and continuously (the default).

Files can be restored by selecting them from the web interface. They can either be downloaded as zip files, or be shipped to you on a DVD (overnighted in fact for $99 per DVD) or on a external hard drive ($189). These prices are presumably US only, we are not sure if and what it would cost to ship to other parts of the world.
Backblaze is nice for its flat fee backup, no hassle setup. It’s great for setting up at your parents’ computer and just do its work. Backup clients are available for Windows and Mac. If they would only get rid of the auto-play video at their front page, that would be fantastic.
